Description

As the Wholesale Director, you will be responsible for establishing and developing the wholesale business in the US domestic market for the brand, identifying market gaps and recommending brand penetration strategies to senior leadership. Distribution will be primarily through department stores, supported by a network of agents and distributors. The role focuses on driving business growth, expanding account relationships, and improving brand presence across accounts.

You will develop and implement a wholesale strategy, oversee seasonal sales budgeting, and coordinate sales targets and objectives with Area Sales Managers and HQ. You will lead efforts to achieve agreed business targets within the territory, support managers in meeting qualitative and quantitative performance requirements, and stay current on company policies and operational processes to ensure accurate communication to customers. The role also includes providing quarterly and ad hoc forecasts upon request, managing National Key Accounts, reviewing new account proposals, and collaborating closely with the Wholesale Visual Merchandising team to support retailer visits and maintain merchandising standards.

As a senior leader, you will manage and develop the Area Sales Managers by recruiting, training, coaching, and conducting regular evaluations in line with company policies, while also supporting ongoing performance of the in-house support team. You are expected to organize and lead regular sales meetings and customer presentations/events that may occur on weekends and/or bank holidays, and to ensure sales targets are met to strengthen shop presence across territories. The ideal candidate is a proven wholesale sales hunter and business developer with strong experience in the US domestic market in the jewelry and accessories category, strong department store knowledge, existing relationship-building capability with large department stores, and solid financial/planning skills supported by proficiency in common office tools.
