Description

the client is seeking a VP of Sales at an executive level to drive revenue growth and expand adoption of its B2B platform in the diamond supply chain for jewelry industry customers. This role will inform and educate stakeholders across the industry about the platform’s benefits, with a focus on building relationships that support customer growth and profitability.

The mission of the VP Sales is to make contact with and serve major accounts, combining new business development with ongoing ownership of an existing customer base. The role will be responsible for onboarding retailers onto the platform, supporting customers to become more competitive, and partnering closely with Fulfilment and Customer Experience teams. Customer-driven product development means feedback gathered from prospects and current customers is expected to directly influence platform direction and improvements.

Key requirements include 7+ years of experience selling into both brick-and-mortar and online retailers, along with strong English communication skills and data-driven decision-making. Prior success leveraging an existing network of online retailers is advantageous, and the role typically involves good technical skills and experience using a CRM. Knowledge of the diamond industry and supply chain is expected, and the ideal candidate will demonstrate humility, trustworthiness, a solution-oriented mindset, strong personal accountability, and the ability to take decisive action.
