The VP, Payer Strategy will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer to build and maintain relationships with payers and senior leadership within the organization. They will be responsible for negotiating contract rates and developing strategies to maximize financial reimbursement for all lines of business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of capitation arrangements and other payer strategies, as well as a proven track record of successful contract negotiations.This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance the needs of our client with the goals of the organization to achieve optimal financial outcomes. The VP, Payer Strategy will collaborate with managed care teams, Sharp Health Plan, Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group, and Sharp Community Medical Group to ensure alignment with business objectives.
