Description

This role is with The client, a high-growth manufacturer in the fall protection and industrial safety space focused on protecting workers across construction, utilities, energy, telecom, and industrial markets. The client emphasizes accountability, urgency, and precision, and operates with a collaborative, performance-oriented leadership team where sales has a direct voice in shaping company strategy and growth initiatives. The position offers an executive-level compensation package with base salary and quarterly performance bonus, along with the opportunity to lead a critical function as the business pursues ambitious growth goals.

The role’s mission is to drive substantial revenue growth over the next several years while building the infrastructure required to scale beyond a larger revenue threshold. Responsibilities include owning and developing a multi-layered sales organization, including direct team leadership and a national network of independent representatives, and establishing a disciplined, data-driven sales engine covering forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM adoption. The leader will align go-to-market activities across sales, marketing, and customer success to improve customer acquisition, retention, and market penetration, optimize product mix and sales strategy to support margin improvement, expand into key growth segments, and build new sales capabilities such as launching an inside sales function and automating processes to improve speed and efficiency.

Candidates should have 10+ years of progressive sales experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership within manufacturing, industrial, or safety-focused businesses, with direct experience in fall protection, industrial safety, or closely related B2B environments strongly preferred. The client seeks a proven track record of scaling revenue, building high-performing teams, and implementing sales infrastructure in high-growth settings, with strong expertise in national account and distributor/channel sales models and complex deal environments. The ideal leader is strategic and operationally hands-on, comfortable setting vision while executing, and experienced in using CRM and analytics tools to drive visibility and performance, with a high-integrity leadership style aligned to respect, urgency, precision, and continuous improvement.
