Description

The client is seeking a VP of Growth to lead and guide specialists across marketing and business development. In this role, you will shape the growth strategy, foster innovation, and build effective collaboration across teams, supporting the organization in creating structured, impactful business projects. You will also stay current on industry trends, market changes, and competitive intelligence to help the growth department adapt and perform.

Key responsibilities include building and leading the growth department through mentorship, assessing current and future skills gaps, ensuring alignment on growth strategy and standards, and implementing best practices to improve performance and job quality across business projects. You will facilitate synergies across organizational levels, identify and optimize marketing technology and tools that support growth, and report progress of growth initiatives to leadership and stakeholders while representing the growth department in decision-making meetings.

You will manage resources and planning for the growth department, including hiring decisions, onboarding, and promotion and termination processes. The role also involves motivating managers and team leaders, supporting them with challenges and the skills they need to lead independently, monitoring development needs, evaluating performance against targets and KPIs, and ensuring consistent adoption of an OKR-based structure. You will establish budgeting standards and monitor optimal budget allocation and tool adoption, while maintaining a positive work environment focused on satisfaction, integration, retention, and continuous growth.
