The client is seeking a VP of Finance to partner closely with leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams across vineyard operations, hospitality, and sales. In this role, you will apply strong financial expertise and a collaborative leadership approach, with an active interest in how the business operates and how financial performance drives strategic decisions.
Responsibilities include leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning; providing financial insight to support strategic initiatives and investments; and partnering with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights. You will evaluate ROI and performance across business initiatives, communicate financial performance to executive leadership and investors, and oversee financial systems and reporting processes.
Qualifications include senior finance leadership experience in roles similar to VP Finance or Director of Finance, along with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy. An advanced business or finance degree (such as an MBA) is preferred, and the role expects clear communication of financial concepts to non-financial teams. Experience with ERP systems is expected, with NetSuite preferred but not required.
