The client is seeking a VP of Finance to partner closely with leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams across vineyard operations, hospitality, and sales. This role will support business strategy through financial expertise, collaborative leadership, and an interest in understanding how the business operates day to day.
The VP of Finance will lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, providing financial insight to guide strategic initiatives and investments. Responsibilities also include evaluating ROI and performance across business initiatives, partnering with operational teams to translate financial data into actionable insights, and communicating financial performance to executive leadership and investors. The role will oversee financial systems and reporting processes to ensure timely, accurate visibility into performance.
Candidates should have senior finance leadership experience in a VP Finance, Director of Finance, or similar capacity, along with a strong background in financial planning, analysis, and business strategy. An MBA or equivalent advanced business or finance education is preferred, and the ability to clearly communicate financial concepts to non-financial teams is important. Experience with ERP systems is expected, with NetSuite preferred but not required.
