The client, a private family office based in Columbus, Georgia, is in search of a Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy and operations for the organization and its related entities. The VP of Finance will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow planning. They will also manage tax strategy, compliance, risk management, and investment oversight, including real estate projects and portfolio expansion.
The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation and at least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a family office, real estate, private equity, or wealth management setting. Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax law, and financial reporting standards is required, along with the ability to build trust with leadership and legal counsel. The VP of Finance must possess excellent communication skills, discretion, and professionalism.
