The VP of Electoral Strategies will be responsible for leading our client's election work with the support of the Board and President to advocate for their interests within the boundaries of the law. This role will involve collaborating closely with the President, Political Director, and Vice President of Policy and Legislation to develop election strategies and establish the necessary infrastructure to position our client as a significant political force. The VP will utilize our client's expertise and resources while working closely with communication and development teams to execute various tactics such as voter education, registration, GOTV, and electioneering communications. Additionally, the VP will oversee electoral fundraising, budgeting, and compliance functions, serving as the primary liaison to the Board of Trustees and leading fundraising efforts in partnership with the development team.Initially supervising two dedicated staff members and contractors supporting election activities, the VP will be responsible for expanding the team's capacity to have a greater impact in future election cycles. The VP will work towards transforming electoral strategy from a tactical response into a sustained source of political power by growing the team and enhancing its ability to scale impact over time. This role will involve managing the organization's electoral fundraising efforts, budgeting, compliance functions, and collaborating with development staff to secure resources for our client's election work.
