Description

The client is seeking a VP of Ecommerce to collaborate with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business, with a strong emphasis on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC). The role covers performance marketing, business planning, strategy, analysis, and sales, and it is expected to leverage expertise across SEO, search engine marketing (SEM), email marketing, and affiliate programs.

Responsibilities include driving topline growth through SEO, SEM, paid advertising, programmatic affiliate programs, and lead generation, while orchestrating a strategic ecommerce plan that integrates sales, marketing, technology, and management to improve the brand and shopping experience. The VP will manage key elements of user experience, including site navigation, content development in coordination with the Marketing team, the checkout funnel, and promotional campaigns; direct and build an ecommerce/performance marketing team (possibly including IT depending on profile) expected to reach about 4–6 people within 12 months; and lead integrated campaigns aimed at increasing conversion rates, order size, and margin performance across product lines.

The VP will develop and forecast quarterly targets and inventory to support financial and operational goals, monitor plan performance, and adjust tactics to meet or exceed targets. The role includes ongoing reporting and analysis for Amazon advertising campaigns with optimization recommendations, tracking business trends, and presenting insights to senior management; required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in ecommerce, with strong experience in SEO, SEM, affiliates, and email marketing, along with extensive knowledge of ecommerce technologies and the ability to communicate technical knowledge effectively to others through written and presentation materials.
