As the VP of Finance and Program Compliance, the client leads broad oversight of all financial activities and program compliance for a Canadian foundation, working in collaboration with other global partner organizations. Reporting to the CEO, the role supports the organization’s financial health and program integrity through leadership of financial planning, reporting, controls, and compliance processes.

The client will foster financial leadership and discipline by administering financial policies, procedures, and plans, and by overseeing core financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit preparation, risk management, and performance measurement. Key duties include monitoring financial progress against approved plans and benchmarks, preparing and interpreting management reporting, maintaining transparency and internal controls, and ensuring secure handling of personal and financial information in line with applicable legislation. In addition to finance, the client is responsible for program compliance related to the financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting of contracted program services with global partners. The client will support the Senior Manager, Program Compliance, and help ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including the assessment of financial risks and the design and execution of mitigation strategies. The role also includes collaboration with senior leadership to develop strategic and tactical planning and to lead short- and long-term financial strategy and forecasting tools.
