the client is seeking a VP CRA Compliance Officer to develop, administer, and maintain the Consumer and CRA Compliance Management Programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. In this role, you will support CRA program success by independently reviewing, qualifying, and documenting volunteer services, donations, FHLB programs, and financial literacy initiatives, ensuring timely completion of low-risk deliverables and producing actionable management and committee reporting to strengthen community impact.
You will partner with stakeholders and lines of business to identify CRA-related opportunities tied to services, donations, and ancillary CRA programs. Responsibilities also include conducting data integrity reviews of CRA community development activities (such as donations, services, financial literacy, and FHLB programs) to validate documentation and work programs against compliance standards, recommending improvements to data quality and program effectiveness, and facilitating monthly CRA liaison meetings with documentation, minutes, and training to support alignment with CRA requirements.
Additional duties include supporting implementation of new or modified CRA regulations and coordinating with the Mortgage Group and CRA Officer to maintain and submit documentation for FHLB programs. You will develop and deliver small-group training for employees on CRA-qualified donations and services, perform gap analyses for services and donations relative to community needs, oversee accurate and timely preparation of the CRA public file, and maintain ongoing awareness of regulatory changes while completing required compliance training. The role is expected to be performed with constant alertness and in a safe manner.
