The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will report directly to the Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor and will be a key member of the Chancellors Cabinet. As the primary organizational leader for information technology, the CIO will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive IT strategic plan focused on driving operational efficiencies and building an effective IT structure. Additionally, the CIO will be tasked with empowering a high-performing team to support the university's IT needs.In addition to leading the IT strategic plan, the CIO will also be responsible for optimizing and operationalizing the IT governance structure to ensure effective prioritization of technology investments. The CIO will play a crucial role in advancing the university's cybersecurity program and enhancing the academic and research computing environment.
