The Vice Provost, Student Affairs at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) plays a crucial role in ensuring the academic success of students by creating a rich and rewarding learning environment. They work closely with campus leaders to develop innovative programs that support students across all OHSU campuses, helping them reach their full potential. The Vice Provost is responsible for developing a strategic vision for student affairs, overseeing its implementation, and supervising various student support services such as the Academic Success Center, Center for Learner Diversity & Inclusion, and Student Health & Wellness.In addition to overseeing student support services, the Vice Provost collaborates with academic leadership to promote student engagement and communication throughout the University. They work with various departments to create purposeful interactions with faculty, staff, and administration, as well as pre-matriculation partners, in alignment with OHSU's mission statement, core values, and vision for nurturing student success. The Vice Provost also conducts ongoing assessments of student support services to ensure they are meeting the needs of learners and continuously improving the student experience at OHSU.
