The Vice Principal will provide strategic educational leadership across all schools within our client, with a particular focus on the two senior schools and Sixth Form. They will deputise for the Principal and oversee the day-to-day running of the schools through close liaison with their Heads, while maintaining the Group's culture in line with its values and mission. Key responsibilities include acting as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Senior Schools and Sixth Form, chairing Senior Management Team meetings, monitoring teaching and learning standards, supporting and developing teaching staff, and engaging with Governors in various ways. The successful candidate will also oversee examination analysis, curriculum development, staff recruitment, and lead the Group through inspection processes.The role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a genuine interest in CPD and staff well-being, and a strong understanding of safeguarding. The Vice Principal serves as a vital link between the Principal, SMT, and Common Room, and must be flexible, creative, and adaptable in their leadership style.
