Description

The client is seeking a Vice President, Sales to lead and drive sales strategy across US and international markets for a fragrance-focused portfolio spanning multiple distribution channels. The role will oversee revenue, profitability, and market share growth by delivering actionable plans, nurturing key customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities aligned with company objectives. Success in shaping the client’s sales vision and ensuring performance across priority regions, including Canada, Latin America, and Travel Retail, is a central focus.

The Vice President, Sales will manage regional P&L for US and international markets and lead a sales organization that includes seven direct reports and additional indirect coverage. Responsibilities include developing and implementing tailored sales strategies for department stores, off-price retailers, food/drug/mass retailers, independent stores, e-commerce partners, distributors, and Travel Retail; monitoring sales performance and market trends; and collaborating with marketing, product, and trade marketing teams to execute programs that maximize brand potential. The role will also ensure effective CRM and data management to analyze performance and support decision-making.

Candidates are expected to bring substantial sales leadership experience, including at least 10 years of sales management experience in the fragrance or beauty industry, with strong familiarity with the US market and major retail channels. Prior experience selling to US department stores is advantageous, and international sales experience is a plus but not required. The position requires proven leadership capability to motivate and manage high-performing teams, a strategic and hands-on entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends, excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, along with willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to approximately 30–40%.
