The client is seeking a Vice President of Sales for North America to lead U.S. sales operations and act as a GM for the U.S. team, with a strong focus on sales and business development. This role reports to the head of the global division in Asia and is responsible for driving strategic, profitable long-term growth by leading sales and pipeline development activities for customers across North America.
The Vice President of Sales will develop and execute regional sales strategy in support of the Fashion division’s strategic plan, including building pipeline, improving conversion, and leading senior relationships for key accounts. Responsibilities also include mentoring and developing sales account executives, ensuring annual goals are completed and communicated, shaping and strengthening key account management for North America, contributing to global division strategic discussions, and using company standard methodologies to increase efficiency and improve margins.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and typically 7–10 years of business experience with an emphasis on sales and marketing, along with strong strategic sales leadership. Experience in apparel trim or similar industries is preferred, as is success in cross-regional projects, planning and forecasting, researching new opportunities, account penetration, strategic leadership, and negotiation; the role also requires sophisticated business and financial acumen and excellent communication and presentation skills.
