Our client is seeking a Vice President of Sales to establish and lead a new business unit focused on helping major grocery chains reduce food waste and enable Canadian families to save money on groceries. The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing the overall go-to-market strategy, building and leading the sales team, driving sustainable revenue growth, and managing the bottom line of this new business area. This position offers the chance to grow and develop a high-impact business within a rapidly growing technology company with a presence in over 1,000 stores across Canada.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include designing and evolving the sales organization for the new sector, defining and implementing a capital-efficient go-to-market strategy, taking full responsibility for the P&L, and developing a long-term growth roadmap. The role also involves leading the acquisition of enterprise-level clients, establishing strategic relationships with executives at major national retailers, executing strategic account plans, and managing a high-performing sales team.
