The ideal candidate should possess a proven track record of innovative approach development and resource acquisition for sustainability. They are expected to have profound knowledge of government operations and to be able to effectively partner with community members, having them play central roles in designing solutions and advising child welfare directors.

The Vice President of Programs will focus heavily on program strategy and implementation, dedicating 30% of their efforts towards this responsibility. They will be tasked with leading execution, continuous refinement of the program portfolio, and directly impacting strategic advancement. A critical aspect of the position is operationalizing innovation by translating strategic priorities into actionable and consistent programmatic approaches. The candidate will also ensure collaborative design processes, incorporating those with lived child welfare experience into decision-making alongside public sector collaborators.
