The client seeks a Vice President of Program Impact to shape the next chapter of its grantmaking and provide strategic leadership. Reporting to the President, the Vice President will bring sound judgment and analytical depth to address the organization’s most important questions, supporting Program Directors as they assess what is working, revisit underlying assumptions, and identify when new approaches may be needed to increase impact.
Positioned at the intersection of strategy, learning, and innovation, the Vice President will lead structured strategy reviews across program portfolios and synthesize insights, risks, and opportunities across program areas. The role will ensure that evaluation and learning inform strategic adaptation and resource allocation, strengthening the organization’s ability to learn and improve over time.
The Vice President will also serve as an innovation and R&D partner to Program Directors, helping identify, develop, and test promising new grantmaking approaches and then transition strong opportunities into long-term program ownership.
