The client is establishing a centralized, statewide operating model to integrate and align the continuum of care across three divisions, leveraging synergies, best practices, efficiency, and standardization while promoting innovation. As part of a dyad leadership structure for clinical specialty areas, this role serves as the inaugural administrative dyad leader for urology, partnering with clinical leadership to unify urology operations across the client’s divisions and may expand across the broader organization.
The Vice President of Operations is accountable for designing and executing specialty-specific operational strategies and business frameworks that support financial sustainability, optimize resources, expand consumer access, and enable long-term growth. This leader will also serve as a consultant to other medical groups to develop urology specialty-specific strategies and clinical standards within the context of each market’s competitive landscape, and will help deploy specialty playbooks that advance quality outcomes, drive innovation, expand access, and sustain growth and financial stability.
Candidates should have expertise in large-scale medicine or surgical specialties, with urology experience highly desirable, along with demonstrated success in dyad/shared leadership models. The role requires strong skills in strategic planning, financial management, and operational integration, as well as the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders in a matrixed system and lead organizational change through innovative operational models. A bachelor’s degree in a business, healthcare administration, or related field is required, with a master’s degree preferred, and relevant senior leadership experience across ambulatory and hospital-based environments; additional preferred experience may include digital health, operational innovation, or academic partnerships.
