The client is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing to lead and drive manufacturing and operations in support of rapid organizational growth. This executive role provides leadership focused on optimizing manufacturing performance, improving supply chain processes, and contributing to revenue growth through effective operational strategy and execution.
Key responsibilities include partnering with executive leadership to design and implement company-wide initiatives, defining and tracking key performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement, and identifying opportunities for automation, productivity gains, and cost reduction across production and engineering activities. The role also ensures compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, and serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and key stakeholders on major projects and capital expenditures.
The successful applicant will champion change management and lean manufacturing principles, fostering a culture centered on collaboration, integrity, innovation, and customer focus. The position involves developing and implementing a multi-year plan aligned to company objectives for revenue, profitability, and growth, providing strong leadership and mentorship to team members, and supporting future hiring and development. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred; extensive experience in engineering, operations, and manufacturing; senior leadership experience in operations and manufacturing; demonstrated continuous improvement and lean methodologies; and relevant experience in specialty vehicles and commercial or nontraditional passenger vehicle manufacturing contexts.
