The client is seeking a Vice President of Investment Research to support in-house due diligence for potential investment opportunities. The role will also help maintain ongoing relationships with leadership teams of existing portfolio companies, and the successful candidate will have regular exposure to managing partners, principals, and portfolio company C-suite leaders.
Key responsibilities will include contributing to due diligence efforts, supporting analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities, and assisting with investment research activities that inform decision-making. The role is expected to support collaboration with internal stakeholders and portfolio leadership to gather, assess, and communicate relevant information.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of manager experience at a top-tier consulting firm and experience conducting due diligence. Strong communication and relationship-management skills are expected to enable effective interaction with senior investment professionals and portfolio company executives.
