The Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VPIA) will report directly to the CSB+SJU President and be a key member of the leadership team. They will oversee all advancement functions, including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, corporate and foundation relations, grants, and donor and alumni relations. The VPIA will embody the Benedictine values of care, community, and stewardship, playing a crucial role in building trust with alumni, strengthening relationships, and securing significant philanthropic support to further the missions and values of CSB+SJU. Additionally, the VPIA will lead efforts to integrate advancement functions across both campuses, driving organizational and cultural transformation.The VPIA will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance fundraising efforts and engage alumni and donors. They will work closely with the President and other senior leaders to align advancement goals with the overall strategic direction of CSB+SJU. The VPIA will also collaborate with staff, faculty, and volunteers to cultivate a culture of philanthropy and stewardship within the institution. Overall, the VPIA will play a critical role in advancing the mission and vision of CSB+SJU through effective leadership of the advancement team and strategic fundraising efforts.
