The client is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead transformational HR initiatives across a global manufacturing organization. This role will drive the overall HR process, systems, technology, and culture, aligning HR strategy with global direction while considering regional business objectives. The VP of HR will serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership and is expected to be both hands-on and forward-looking in leading change.
Key responsibilities include overseeing HR strategy, vision, and execution; implementing HR transformation programs with sustainable impact; and leading change management in both corporate and plant environments. The role will partner with senior leadership on workforce and business strategy planning, develop regional HR leadership, and establish a culture aligned with corporate values. It will also support plant performance by working with manufacturing and HR leadership, ensure strong talent management and succession planning, and handle employee relations matters while maintaining compliance with internal and local labor legislation.
The successful applicant will bring a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, with an MBA preferred. Experience is expected to include 15+ years in HR within a manufacturing environment, including senior regional or global leadership across plant and corporate settings, and at least 5 years of HR leadership experience. The client will look for a change-agent profile with HR transformation experience in a complex global environment, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, deep grounding in employee relations and legal compliance, and strong communication and leadership skills to influence and coach management teams.
