The client is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead a transformational HR function for a global manufacturing organization. This role will drive overall HR process, systems, technology, and culture, aligning regional priorities with the company’s global HR strategy. The Vice President of Human Resources will serve as a strategic business partner to senior executives, while also taking an active, hands-on approach to execution across corporate and plant environments.
Key responsibilities include overseeing HR strategy, vision, and execution; leading HR transformation through strategic initiatives; and providing trusted advisory support to regional leadership and the Global CHRO. The role will drive change management by working with executive leadership to foster a positive, can-do mentality across corporate and plant settings. The Vice President will lead, mentor, and develop a regional HR team, establish a culture aligned with corporate values, and support business and workforce planning, including participation in strategic projects across manufacturing facilities.
The position will partner with manufacturing plants and HR leaders to ensure performance and objectives are met, strengthening talent management, development, and succession planning to build leadership pipelines. Responsibilities also include managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with internal and local labor legislation, developing and standardizing HR policies and programs for organizational development, planning, and training, and supporting education and development efforts to attract, grow, and retain talent. The role will maintain and shape competitive employee programs and may include digital and analytics initiatives to improve HR reporting and decision-making; success will require a bachelor’s degree in a related field with an MBA preferred, extensive HR leadership experience in manufacturing, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and demonstrated change leadership.
