Description

The client is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources for North America to join the executive leadership team and support a global, manufacturing-focused organization. This role will oversee HR strategy, vision, and execution across the region, and will help drive HR transformation initiatives with meaningful, sustainable impact on business outcomes.

Key responsibilities include partnering with senior leadership as a trusted advisor and business partner to the Regional President and Global CHRO, leading change management across corporate and plant environments, and developing regional HR leadership and team members. The role will support workforce and business strategy planning, participate in regional and global strategic projects, and partner with manufacturing plants and HR managers to ensure performance and objectives are met.

The Vice President of Human Resources will drive talent management, development, and succession planning, ensure strong employee relations practices and compliance with internal and local labor legislation, and develop HR policies and programs for organizational development, planning, and training. The position will also support education and development efforts, create standardized HR policies and procedures across the region, and help implement digital and analytics capabilities to improve HR reporting and decision-making; it will require a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, 15+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment, and 5+ years of HR leadership experience leading a region, with manufacturing experience, strong culture-building capabilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and influence/coaching abilities.
