the client is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Vice President of Food & Beverage to lead and oversee the hotel’s food and beverage operations. The role will drive strategy and performance across restaurants, bars, in-room dining, catering, and special events, with the goal of elevating culinary offerings, increasing revenue, and enhancing guest satisfaction in a luxury hospitality setting.
The Vice President of Food & Beverage will develop and implement a comprehensive food and beverage strategy aligned with brand standards and aimed at strengthening the property’s market position. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations; partnering with the Executive Chef and culinary team to create innovative, locally inspired menus; building and leading a cohesive team through guidance, training, and development; monitoring and controlling costs to optimize profitability; and using guest feedback, industry trends, and market data to identify improvement and growth opportunities.
The position also requires ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and liquor licensing regulations, as well as maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and community partners. The Vice President will collaborate with other department leaders to deliver a seamless guest experience and may represent the property at industry events and networking functions. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field (master’s degree preferred), extensive progressive food and beverage management experience with luxury or upscale leadership exposure, strong knowledge of food and beverage trends plus wine and spirits, exceptional leadership and communication skills, strong financial acumen, flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and certification in food safety/sanitation and responsible alcohol service.
