The client is a family office dedicated to the hospitality industry, overseeing a diverse portfolio of hospitality businesses with a focus on financial management and operational excellence. The Vice President of Finance will lead the family office’s financial management and help drive operational finance efficiency across portfolio companies, supporting sustainable growth and strategic financial planning.
Key responsibilities include leading the family office’s financial management and supporting operational finance for hospitality portfolio companies. The role will manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions to maintain loans and manage lines of credit, oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the client’s objectives.
The ideal candidate is a senior finance executive with a strong background in hospitality and finance, with extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, and banking relationships. Experience managing loans and lines of credit is required, and an understanding of investment banking is strongly preferred. The candidate should have strong analytical and decision-making skills, and the ability to lead, inspire, and develop a small finance team, providing guidance and mentorship to direct reports including accounting assistants and a bookkeeper.
