The client is seeking a strategic, innovative, and highly collaborative Vice President of Communications & Content to lead communications, media relations, content, social media, and storytelling efforts. This role will develop and execute communications strategies that advance the client’s mission, brand platform, strategic priorities, and organizational goals, supporting how the destination is positioned to visitors and audiences.
The Vice President will oversee a team responsible for earned media, owned channels, social media, executive communications, crisis communications, original content development, and integrated campaign amplification. Working with diverse audiences—including consumers, corporate stakeholders, tourism and meetings communities, and civic and community groups—the leader will help shape how the destination is perceived, experienced, and discussed.
The ideal candidate is a strong people leader and strategic communicator who can balance reputation management, media relations, modern content production, audience growth, and operational discipline.
