The Vice President of Capital Construction will report to the Senior Vice President of Capital Strategy, Real Estate, and Development and will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of procurement, design, and construction for a $5 billion five-year capital program. Working closely with the Senior Director of Planning & Architecture, the VPCC will manage the feasibility, program, and budget development, as well as the conceptual design, university and trustee approval, and governance of all major capital projects. The VPCC will provide leadership and direction to ensure that all capital projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. They will also collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the projects meet the needs and goals of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project planning, and budgeting, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a large and complex capital program.
