Description

The client is seeking a Vice President of Marketing for a remote role in the United States. Geographic flexibility is available, with a preference for candidates located in Eastern or Central time zones, and candidates should be comfortable traveling periodically for leadership meetings and team collaboration. This leader will guide the next stage of brand and demand growth for an established, growing consumer products business.

The Vice President of Marketing will lead marketing strategy with a strong focus on consumer demand, awareness, trial, and measurable growth. Responsibilities include building and scaling social, creator, influencer, affiliate, and community-driven programs; developing testing frameworks to quickly learn, identify winning creative and channels, and scale investment based on results; and connecting marketing activity to meaningful business metrics and ROI rather than surface-level engagement. The role also involves shaping brand positioning and storytelling, guiding integrated marketing across digital, content, creators, paid media, PR, and consumer activation, and using consumer behavior, performance data, and market insights to continually refine strategy and investment.

This position requires at least 10+ years of progressive consumer marketing experience with meaningful leadership responsibility, including demonstrated success building or materially scaling consumer demand. The client is looking for someone with strong modern social and digital marketing experience across creator, influencer, affiliate, community, or related consumer-acquisition strategies, and a track record of using testing, data, and measurable KPIs/ROI to inform where and how to invest. The ideal candidate can explain in detail strategies they helped develop—covering the business problem, hypothesis, testing process, decisions, execution, and measurable outcomes—and will partner effectively across sales, product, digital commerce, and executive leadership, balancing internal capabilities, technology, and outside partners while contributing to longer-term growth strategy as part of the senior leadership team.
