Description

the client is a privately held, high-growth, multi-entity platform operating across motorsports services and advanced manufacturing environments. It is transitioning from a founder-led model into a more scaled and integrated business, building shared services across finance, HR, operations, and go-to-market. As part of a broader transformation, the organization plans to consolidate operations into the greater North Carolina (Mooresville) area, bringing teams together under one roof while preserving brand identity and maintaining independent brand go-to-market perspectives supported by a centralized back-office platform.

this Human Capital leadership role is focused on building and leading the Human Capital function from the ground up within a scaling platform. The position offers close partnership with executive leadership and ownership to shape the future organizational model, with significant influence over organizational design, talent strategy, and culture. The role supports a complex operational transformation, including operational consolidation, integration of multiple business units under a shared platform, and preparation for continued organic growth and potential acquisitions, while serving as a strategic partner responsible for designing and building the organization for scale.

success in this role includes architecting organizational structures across multiple entities, establishing career frameworks to attract, retain, and develop talent, and supporting leaders in navigating change, growth, and cultural alignment. The role will build a human capital strategy intended to enable long-term scalability and shift the organization from a reactive, compliance-driven HR model to one that empowers leaders to manage effectively, builds leadership capability, and embeds accountability, performance, and ownership. The ideal background includes proven experience leading human capital strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning in a multi-entity, high-growth, or evolving environment, along with demonstrated ability to build HR infrastructure during transformation and coach managers to drive engagement and team effectiveness, with added value for experience in entrepreneurial or privately held, founder-led contexts.
