The Vice President for Student Engagement at Georgia State will be responsible for shaping a holistic, equity-driven student experience that supports learners from their first point of contact through graduation and beyond. This leader will oversee a large, multifaceted student engagement enterprise that spans six campuses, more than 5,000 residential beds, and hundreds of programs and services. The VPSE will work to connect co-curricular engagement to student outcomes and advance key initiatives centered on identity, placemaking, and belonging to foster community and connection across the University.The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced, collaborative, data-informed leader with a deep understanding of the transformative impact of student engagement. They will work closely with academic and administrative units, serve on the Presidents Cabinet, and partner with the Senior Vice President for Student Success to align student engagement with institutional goals. The VPSE will also have significant operational, financial, and facility-related responsibilities, support student safety and wellness, and ensure a cohesive, equitable experience across all campuses.
