William Paterson University is seeking a Vice President for Student Development to oversee various student-centric departments and services, including Residence Life, Career Development Center, Counseling, Athletics and Recreation, and more. The VPSD will report directly to the President and work collaboratively with the Provost to ensure student academic progress and timely graduation. The ideal candidate will be a visionary and student-centered leader who can plan, develop, and administer programs that enhance career opportunities and graduate work for students.The Vice President for Student Development will also be responsible for overseeing new student orientation programs, Campus Activities, Service and Leadership, Veteran and Military Services, and other key areas that contribute to the overall student experience. This individual will work to create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students, including those in the Educational Opportunity Fund program and TRIO Student Support Services. The VPSD will play a crucial role in ensuring that students have access to resources and support services that promote academic success and personal growth throughout their time at the university.
