The Vice President for Student Development will oversee a wide range of student-centric departments and services, including Residence Life, Career Development Center, Counseling, Athletics and Recreation, Student Conduct, and more. They will work closely with the Provost to ensure that students are making academic progress and graduating on time, while also enhancing their career opportunities through co- and extracurricular experiences. The Vice President will be responsible for planning, developing, and administering various programs and services that support student success and well-being, such as new student orientation programs, Campus Activities, Service and Leadership, and Veteran and Military Services.Additionally, the Vice President will collaborate with the President to create a supportive and inclusive campus environment that fosters student growth and development. They will be responsible for overseeing the Educational Opportunity Fund program, academic achievement and advisement, TRIO Student Support Services, and other resources that support student success. The Vice President will also work to ensure that students have access to necessary support services, such as a Social Worker for Student Support and Resources, Testing, and First Year Foundations programs, to help them thrive academically and personally throughout their college experience.
