The Vice President for Student Affairs (VPSA) will report directly to the President and will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of student life, including student wellbeing, engagement, and co-curricular activities. This role involves providing strategic leadership for a division that includes the Dean of Students office, residence life, counseling and health services, career planning, student leadership and service, the chaplains office, and athletics. The VPSA will work closely with campus and board leadership to develop a vision for student life that meets the needs of today's students while also honoring the traditions and culture of the institution.The VPSA will be instrumental in enhancing student engagement, improving mental health and wellness resources, supporting the growth of athletics as an enrollment driver, enhancing residential and campus life infrastructure, and promoting collaboration across academic and administrative units to ensure a cohesive student experience. This position requires a strong commitment to student success and a proactive approach to addressing the evolving needs of the student body. The VPSA will play a key role in shaping the overall student experience and contributing to the overall success of the institution.
