The client invites nominations and applications for the Vice President for Student Affairs position. Reporting to the President and serving as a member of the President’s Leadership Team, this senior leader will oversee the Division of Student Affairs and is expected to create and execute a vision that enhances the student experience, supports a safe and welcoming campus environment, and strengthens a sense of community across campus.
In this role, The client seeks a creative, innovative leader with proven strategic leadership and management capabilities, along with an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach. The Vice President for Student Affairs will be responsible for advancing student belonging across a residential campus context, using data and assessment to inform decisions, and responding to evolving student needs and expectations across generations. The role also involves providing campus-wide, visible leadership and partnering with academic and administrative units to support student well-being and development.
The Vice President for Student Affairs will oversee all departments within the Student Affairs division, including budgetary responsibility and division-wide strategic planning. This position develops and implements relevant policies, practices, and programming, and will lead and manage a substantial student affairs team, with direct reports that may include a dean of students and additional staff.
