Description

the client invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Research and Sponsored Programs (VPRSP). The VPRSP reports to the Provost/Executive Vice President and provides senior leadership across the university to develop and implement a clear vision for advancing and strengthening the research enterprise. As a senior member of the leadership team, the VPRSP advises institutional leadership on research strategy, policy, investment, and risk, and represents the client internally and externally on matters related to research, scholarship, creative work, and innovation.

The VPRSP is expected to lead efforts that strengthen the research mission and enhance the impact of sponsored programs. The role involves providing strategic guidance and oversight for research-related initiatives, shaping institutional priorities, and advising on policies and resources that support sustainable growth. The VPRSP also serves as a key spokesperson for the research enterprise, helping to advance the client’s research goals through internal alignment and external engagement.
