The position is designed to support institution- and state-wide success, leveraging broad expertise across multiple academic and research areas to help address society’s major challenges.
the Vice President for Research and Innovation will be responsible for growing research opportunities, enhancing existing partnerships, and developing new industry collaborations that advance both the client and the wider community. The role calls for significant administrative leadership and deep familiarity with the federal funding landscape, including sponsored programs administration and compliance processes. The successful candidate will also have direct experience developing and executing research opportunities with corporate and non-governmental partners, and will model ethical leadership and effective communication with key internal and external constituents.
