North Dakota State University is seeking a Vice President for Research and Creative Activity to oversee the Research and Creative Activity division. Reporting directly to President Marshall Stewart and serving on the Presidents Cabinet, the VPRCA will be responsible for managing the budget, personnel, and operations of the division. This includes overseeing sponsored programs administration, research and faculty development, RCA core research facilities, research integrity, security, compliance, innovation and economic development, and strategic research initiatives.The VPRCA will also serve as the institutional official for research compliance committees and as the empowered official for export controls. This position plays a crucial role in advancing research and creative activity at NDSU and will work closely with faculty, staff, and external partners to promote a culture of innovation and excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research administration, compliance, and strategic planning, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders within the university and beyond.
