Description

The Vice President of Institutional Advancement (VPIA) will report directly to the President and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fundraising and donor relations. This includes major and planned giving, alumni relations, annual giving, and advancement services. The VPIA will work closely with institutional leadership and the Board of Trustees to increase philanthropic support, engage donors, and enhance the culture of giving at the institution. A key focus of the role will be leading a comprehensive capital campaign, expanding the major gift pipeline, and establishing partnerships with corporations and foundations, while upholding the strong tradition of alumnae philanthropy at the institution. Additionally, the VPIA will be instrumental in fostering lifelong engagement with alumnae and ensuring that advancement strategies align with the institution's priorities and mission as a women's college.The successful candidate for this role will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in fundraising and donor relations. They will have experience in managing comprehensive capital campaigns, growing major gift pipelines, and building partnerships with external stakeholders. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as the VPIA will be responsible for engaging donors, alumni, institutional leadership, and the Board of Trustees. The VPIA will also need to demonstrate a commitment to advancing the institution's mission as a women's college and fostering a culture of philanthropy among alumnae and donors.
