The client is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and collaborative leader for the Vice President for Enrollment Management (VPEM) role. The VPEM will join The client during a period of meaningful and productive experimentation and will partner closely with college leadership to advance enrollment efforts grounded in The client’s applied liberal arts approach, including potential growth into new markets such as graduate programming and hybrid learning. Reporting to the President, the VPEM will help sustain positive momentum across the senior leadership team and campus.
The VPEM’s primary charge is to continue implementing a college-wide enrollment management philosophy and model, while designing and leading a forward-looking strategic enrollment plan. This includes providing mentorship, resources, and hands-on assistance to support division staff in executing the strategy. The VPEM will be responsible for managing the enrollment management budget and overseeing a team of admissions and financial aid professionals.
The VPEM will develop and execute a comprehensive, long-range but flexible enrollment management plan aligned with The client’s mission and strategic direction. Responsibilities include integrating recruitment best practices with continued strengthening of The client’s branding; supporting enrollment growth across traditional, non-traditional, and transfer student populations; and building initiatives across the student life cycle to enhance recruitment, retention, and persistence. The role also emphasizes data-informed decision-making, including optimizing existing capabilities of current enrollment tools, personalizing prospective student engagement, and facilitating clear sharing and communication of data to support enrollment and retention goals.
