The client is hiring a Vice President for Community Investment to lead community and economic development work in its hometown. The Vice President will help articulate and advance a long-term vision for The client’s community support, expanding partnerships with public and private stakeholders including government entities, community-based organizations, philanthropic institutions, and capital partners. the Vice President will develop and promote a comprehensive strategy that leverages philanthropy to align and catalyze public and private investment across the city and region.
Key responsibilities include deploying capital through mission-related and program-related investment approaches, as well as mobilizing new resources to support community-driven outcomes. The Vice President is expected to apply learnings from the hometown work to inform and influence broader community impact, while prioritizing racial equity, community engagement, and leadership development. The position reports directly to the Chief of Staff and is intended to rapidly accelerate community investment with a focus on improving the lives of children and families.
