The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) is seeking an experienced academic leader to serve as Vice President for Administration and Finance (VPAF). Reporting directly to President Valerie Sheares Ashby, the VPAF will play a critical role in developing and implementing effective fiscal management, administrative, and operational strategies to support UMBC's strategic goals. Responsible for a campus-wide enterprise of $700 million, the VPAF will facilitate financial strength and sustainability, operational effectiveness, and the delivery of optimized services for various functional units.As a member of the president's senior leadership team, the VPAF will be a vital strategic partner in implementing the University's new strategic plan, identifying revenue generation opportunities, assessing structures for maximum effectiveness, and advancing an inclusive workplace culture.
