The client is seeking a Vice President, Finance to join its executive management team and support overall strategic leadership. The role provides primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing, and controlling financial activities, with ownership spanning accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic financial planning, manufacturing costing, pricing and deal analysis, and oversight of information systems management. The Vice President will report to the General Manager and will help develop and execute strategic business plans through financial analysis, opportunity identification, and performance improvement.
Key responsibilities include leading finance team members and collaborating with corporate finance partners to meet reporting, forecasting, costing, and customer pricing and profitability requirements. The Vice President will provide guidance on pricing strategy and strengthen pricing control and reporting, while ensuring effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP and applicable tax and legal regulations. The role will also involve working with senior leadership to drive initiatives that foster an inclusive culture and support employee engagement and experience within the finance organization.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and a professional accounting designation. Experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles is expected, with preference for manufacturing and/or consumer goods environments, along with strong business acumen and the ability to influence both top- and bottom-line performance.
