The Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (VP & CFO) will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction, financial stewardship, and operational effectiveness of our client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, healthcare management, and enterprise leadership, and will be accountable for overseeing all financial systems, long-term priorities, operating budgets, capital planning, investments, and overall financial sustainability. The VP & CFO will develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to promote a culture of strong financial stewardship, fiscal sustainability, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting in alignment with funding and regulatory standards.In addition, the VP & CFO will provide rigorous oversight of revenue cycle performance, expense management, financial indicators, and internal controls to mitigate risk and safeguard assets. Working closely with the President and CEO and senior leadership team, the VP & CFO will inform strategic decision-making through financial analysis and risk assessment, while identifying opportunities for growth, efficiency, and operational optimization. The role will also involve leadership of finance, accounting, and administrative functions, as well as a commitment to building and mentoring high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. The VP & CFO will represent the organization in external forums, advocating for its interests and advancing its standing as an academic healthcare leader.
