The client is seeking a Vice President for Finance and Administration to provide executive leadership for all financial and business-related matters. Reporting to the President, the role oversees financial planning and budgeting, accounting, investments, debt management, insurance, real estate management, risk management, and contract management. Responsibilities also include senior staff support to multiple finance, audit, real estate, and technology-related committees and subcommittees of the University’s Board of Directors, as well as broader oversight of the business office, human resources, facilities, police/security, and the scheduling/event planning office.
As a member of the President’s Senior Staff, the Vice President will set priorities and strategies to support University-wide objectives both internally and externally. The role will develop partnerships across faculty, staff, and the board to advance operational excellence and fiscal stewardship, including providing financial advisement related to enrollment management strategies and academic programs. The Vice President will address cost reduction, internal resource reallocation, and revenue generation by aligning financial data with academic offerings, identifying resources for program and infrastructure investment, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting balanced operating budgets.
The Vice President will provide financial data and analysis to inform decision-making across campus and to monitor progress toward strategic University goals.
