Description

The client is seeking a Vice President to provide executive leadership for data center infrastructure programs and adjacent industrial power assets. This commercially minded engineering leader will help expand the client’s presence in high-demand infrastructure environments by opening doors with new clients, guiding strategic growth, and strengthening execution across complex technical programs. The role focuses on shaping a growing market segment, building long-term partnerships, and balancing business performance with delivery excellence.

Key responsibilities include leading strategy and revenue growth, driving market expansion through new client acquisition, partnership development, and service line growth, and improving positioning in priority sectors. The Vice President will own business performance for forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and resource planning for the assigned market segment, while building and maintaining executive-level relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to support sustained growth. The role also includes supporting complex pursuits by aligning commercial priorities with technical capability and delivery readiness.

Operationally, the Vice President will guide leaders in improving project performance, scope discipline, schedule awareness, quality standards, and risk visibility across major engagements, while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement through strong governance. The position includes strengthening team capability through workforce planning, leadership development, mentoring, and talent decisions to support long-term growth. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (a master’s degree preferred) and at least ten years of related engineering experience, with a Professional Engineering license preferred; success also depends on strong business acumen, executive communication and relationship management, and experience across data centers, power generation, industrial manufacturing, or similarly complex infrastructure environments.
