Description

The client is seeking a Vice President – Construction to lead its Tenant Improvement (TI) / Contracts Division. This senior leadership role provides full ownership of a fast-paced, project-driven business unit focused on operational performance, financial results, and client relationships.

The Vice President will provide executive leadership for the commercial contracts division with full P&L responsibility. Responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and managing Project Managers and field and customer-facing personnel; ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with margin targets; establishing and enforcing operational processes related to job costing, scheduling, and project execution; developing and maintaining strong relationships with General Contractors and key clients; and overseeing contract administration, including change orders, risk mitigation, and compliance.

Qualifications include at least 10 years of experience in commercial construction or subcontracting environments, with MEP or plumbing strongly preferred, and demonstrated success managing P&L for a project-based business in the relevant deal-size range. The ideal candidate has proven leadership experience overseeing Project Managers and field operations teams, along with strong financial and operational acumen in job costing, forecasting, and margin management, plus experience in Tenant Improvement or similar high-volume, fast-paced project environments.
